Up to date COVID-19 Information

At Pet Vet on Patton Animal Hospital, our goal is to remain open during the pandemic, and provide quality veterinary care in a low stress manner for both you and your pets, while at the same time following all recommended health and safety protocols.
We’d like to thank all of our valued clients for continuing to support us during these challenging times. Please call us any time at 828-232-9990 with questions or comments.
Our Covid 19 Protocols
Due to health and safety issues, we are limiting the access of families of pets and non staff members to the clinic. When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, please call our office (ph: 828-232-9990). A receptionist will check you in from the car. A technician will walk out to your car, get all the information about your visit that day, and then bring your pet inside the hospital for their exam. After examining your pet, the doctor or technician will call to speak with you about their findings and any recommended treatment. After treatment has been provided for your pet, a staff member will bring your pet back to the car.
Mask and Social Distancing
As per the recent North Carolina statewide mandate to wear masks in public, we are asking all of our clients to wear proper face masks. We also ask that everyone follows the proper social distancing guidelines as well. As our Pet Vet staff approaches your vehicle, please have your mask in place and maintain the required 6-foot distance as best you can during the interaction with your veterinary staff. This goes for our boarding facility and daycare as well.

Coronavirus Update

During the coming weeks/months of coronavirus risk, we at The Pet Vet on Patton welcome your requests to drop off your pet from your car. We are happy to meet you outside the building to take your pets history for a drop off appointment. A drop off appointment is when your pet is left with us for their visit with a doctor. Scheduled visits can also be handled in this manner if you prefer in the coming weeks, though care for your pet is more complete when we have proper lighting etc. We also offer this service for boarding or daycare. Please just call ahead and we can be ready! Thanks - Dr. Lea Osborne Vines - Owner of The Pet Vet

What our clients say about The Pet Vet on Patton

  • Absolutely love this office! Appointments are on time and my vet-nervous dog LOVES the doggie daycare and pet boarding. They always treat my dog with love and respect, keeping it short and sweet and as un-scary as possible for her. Today I needed our first "same-day sick appointment" and they were more than helpful getting us in. After our visit, I received an email from Dr. Paluselli with additional research and information. Amazing care, I fully recommend! PS- I just remembered that on our first day of doggie daycare, they sent me a photo of my girl in the yard to let me know she was doing well! Exceptional staff.

  • Great people, top notch facility and a very fair price. My dog is having a great time at daycare and I'm a very satisfied patron.

  • I thought I was adopting a 10 year old dog and we would just have him a few years. Well, 9 years later, I still have him. And the Pet Vet on Patton has continued to provide us with budget friendly options for us as Henry ages. They take plenty of time to hear our concerns. They've also provided free, over-the-phone advice that addressed his diarrhea (very helpful!). A few years ago, due to a freak accident at the dog park, Henry had a fracture in his jaw (he got his mouth stuck under another dog's collar). The Pet Vet on Patton recommended that we not do surgery but just take anabiotic's and anti-inflammatories and wait it out. My dog healed up just fine! I also received follow up phone calls from the doctor to check in and see how he was doing. All in all I think this is a great vet office. they have provided us with compassionate care and budget friendly options along the lifespan of my dog.

  • Going to the vet has always been very stressful. My dog has never even liked a vet before, and to my amazement he LOVES the Pet Vet. They have an extremely caring, warm, and helpful staff that has worked with him and made him feel really comfortable on their care. It's incredible to know I can now leave him in capable hands (doggie daycare is awesome too!). Highly recommend!
