Dr. Bryan grew up in Tallahassee, FL and from day one was always searching for the next dog to pet. Veterinary medicine sounded like the perfect blend of science and petting dogs, so he made his way to Florida State University, where he earned a BS in Biology. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.
When not in his white coat, Dr. Bryan avidly follows all things FSU. He is a former trumpet player for the FSU Marching Chiefs and still makes music an important part of his life. Fitness, food and travel are three of his favorite things and are a big part of what drew him to the mountains!
Throughout vet school Dr. Bryan made several visits to Asheville and completed a surgical externship with the ASPCA Humane Alliance. After a 1-year stint as a general practitioner in Champaign, IL he was excited to pursue a life in Asheville. So far it has been an absolute joy, and he looks forward to a great future in this beautiful area!
Currently Dr. Bryan has a brother and sister pair of cats named Fry and Rhoda, and a leopard tortoise named Tater-Tort.
