Dr. Lea Osborne, D.V.M., is a graduate of North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine and has been in practice for over ten years, working as a traveling veterinarian, an associate of various hospitals, and as an emergency and soft tissue surgeon for Regional Emergency Animal Care Hospital (R.E.A.C.H.) of Buncombe County. Dr. Osborne grew up on a farm near Weaverville and decided at an early age to become a veterinarian. At the age of eight, she began accompanying a local veterinarian on farm visits. She has two dogs and two cats of her own and regularly exercises her dogs on mountain biking trips. Dr. Osborne is married with two happy children.
Dr. Erin Allgood received her Bachelor’s Degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. Her passion and interest of veterinary medicine began at a young age growing up in her father’s small animal veterinary practice. Dr. Allgood has a professional interest in surgery and values the special relationship between pets and their families. Dr. Allgood enjoys cooking, baking, and the many outdoor activities Western North Carolina has to offer. Her furry family currently includes a cat named Lennie, a hound mix named Boone, and a golden retriever named Charlie.
Dr. Annie King is a graduate of NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology, behavior, and client education. She particularly loves working with feline patients, trying to make their veterinary experience as positive as possible. In her spare time, Dr. King can often be found whitewater rafting with her husband Will and their two dogs, Muppet and Jaded.
Dr. Mary Lynn Paluselli is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine, animal behavior, and client education, with employment in radiology and microbiology research. A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, she is also a credentialed first responder with the NC Veterinary Response Corps. In her free time, Dr.Paluselli enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her husband Eric, family, and friends. She has owned and fostered many wonderful dogs and cats over the years and is pictured here with cattle dogs Utah and Ruby.
A native of Saratoga Springs NY, Butch moved to Asheville in 1992 as a student at UNC-Asheville. Butch immediately fell in love with the area and upon graduation decided to stay in Asheville. Butch and his wife have a small farm in East Asheville.
Butch enjoys mountain biking with my dog Ranger (best biking dog ever), hiking and camping- basically anything that keeps him outside with his pets.
Holly is a 2007 graduate of the AB Tech Veterinary Technology program. She joined the Pet Vet family in 2008. Holly began as our weekend kennel provider and we liked her so much she became our ICU and surgical technician who cares for your furry child when they are hospitalized or visiting Pet Vet for surgery. Any time you have questions or concerns, Holly is our Registered Veterinary nurse that you will most likely be chatting with.
Holly is a native WNC gal who enjoys hiking, reading, crocheting, and going to music festivals in her free time. She lives with her 3 mixed breed dogs, 3 cats, and a turtle.
Heather graduated from AB-Tech with an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 2010. She happily joined the Pet Vet family in 2013.
